17 MOTORBIKES DONATED TO AGRIC DEPARTMENT: DONKORKROM
17 motorbikes have been donated to the North District’s Department of Agriculture at Kwahu Afram Plains.
The bikes were donated to support the government flagship programs and technologize agriculture by the CIDA (CANADIAN INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY).
Mr. Samuel Kena who is the District Chief Executive for Kwahu Afram Plains North said the motion was in the accomplishment of the government’s commitment to developing the sector. This statement was made under the presentation of the motorbikes at the Department of Donkorkrom.
He said this would sanction Ghanaians to embrace agriculture.
He then added, for Government to realize these, there is the need to provide resources and management. The donation serves as clear evidence to the priority government places in the development of agriculture in the country.
The District Chief Executive handing over the bikes pleaded to the staff to use the bikes for the proposed purpose of supporting the flagship programs and agriculture in general.
The District Agric Director, Mr. Philip Azidoku expressed appreciation to the government for the gesture
