Assembly Members at Techiman North District grateful to Prez Akuffo-Addo for quick release of motorbikes to aid their work
From the time of late President J. E. A. Mills that Ghana government in the year 2011 through the Ministry of Local Government & Rural Development introduced a policy to give each assembly member a motorbike during their four (4) year tenure to aid the discharge of their duties, the President Akuffo Addo led NPP administration’s era is the only time that these motorbikes have been released quite earlier or on time.
According to Hon. Yeboah Asuamah Daniel, Presiding Member for Techiman North District Assembly in the Bono East region, successive governments presented these motorbikes to Honorable Assembly members at a time their tenure had ended or coming to an end which did not meet its intended purposes.

On behalf of the Techiman North DCE Hon. Peter Mensah, the Presiding Member advised his fellow assembly members to use the machines safely on our roads and for their intended purposes in order to bring development to the doorsteps of the grassroots or local electorates.
