Born Fidelis Samson Denkyi, stage named Botoe a Ga language which literally means Listen . A native of Kwahu Asaka in the Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana. Botoe was brought up in Tema. Had his primary schooling in Tema Newtown.
Speaking to Vhillageblogger of dikoder.com on Entertainment Extra on Saturday, he explained that he identified his talent in primary but had it seriously when a voice asks him to pick pen and paper and start writing music.
Being a past student of Tema Presec, he quoted that … “I love music in-fact good music but above all rap music even though at a tender age I love music so I wasn’t surprised I had it as a calling. For me what motivates me to do music especially rap is the passion to do good music to inspire, entertain and educate. I said, its a call on me to do Rap music “
Speaking on his latest banger “Rap Messiah” he explains that the song is about a young street kid who is full of talent to sing and has dreams of making it to the Grammys but all hope seems lost because of lack of support from home and other friends.
He brags about his rap talent and the journey to this level in his much-anticipated punch lines in the new banger to decorate himself as the next big star to come from the streets of Accra.
