Don’t Expect to be a Millionaire in the Teaching Sector- Nana Akuffo Addo

The president of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has made a very disturbing comment about the teaching profession in Ghana which has called for the wrath of people in that profession.

In a press conference, the president makes a very shocking comment about the teaching profession, which Ghanaian teachers found very insulting. When asked about the payment of Ghanaian teachers by the government, the president shockingly tells Ghanaians teachers never to expect becoming billionaires in their profession.

“Nevertheless, I don’t think that anywhere in the world that people go into teachings expected to become millionaires and make money. If you want to do that do other things. If you want to do teaching it’s because you want to contribute to the welfare of the society…”, H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo uttered.
