Serwaa Bonsu To Play Asaase Yaa In New Movie

The General Secretary of Film Directors Guild Ghana(FDGG), Bonsu Serwaa Gifty popularly known as pinoquio has taken up one of the most challenging roles as the Goddess of the earth ( Asaase Yaa) in the most talked-about historical movie shoot, The Heroes of Africa which is based on the exploits of Tetteh Quashie.

Growing up we were taught about how Tetteh Quashie brought a cocoa seed to Ghana to plant which today has become one the major source of income to Ghana’s economy.

After searching every nook and cranny for the right person to play the role of “Asaase Yaa”, the Director of the movie Frank Fii Gharbin settled on pinoquio for her excellent talent as an actress and a Script supervisor.

Both the Director and Producer of the movie were wowed with her performance during rehearsals.

pinoquio is a member of the Film Crew Association Ghana and a presenter at Akuafo Tv.

She is also a member of the International Perazim Ministries (IPM) and also part of the Media Team of SHEROES (GASU) as well.
