Critical music enthusiasts have the conviction that Kuami Eugene has no clear-cut music composition talent and the records are very visible to cite when the need be.
Thus, for the past years, Kuami Eugene has been accused of song sampling or better still music theft by musicians like Adani Best, Ice Prince, Et Al.
Even when Kuami released “confusion” song, one Marlian artiste called Sidiki Diabaté came out to warn Kuami Eugene to desist from the act of song sampling and sit up to put together his own lyrics.
Now, Yaw Ray of CB Records fame in an interview with Koo Tv postulated that Kuami Eugene is not any good artiste apart from sampling songs including this year’s songs – perhaps all the songs that earned him VGMAs awards were sampled.
He furthered that although he sounds like Ghana’s incumbent VGMAs Artiste of The Year, there’s no way he will sample other people’s songs as Kuami has been doing.
